Content Types

OpenText Documentum differentiates its content by a customizable hierarchy of types, each inheriting the metadata of the parent(s) in the hierarchy.

The connector can extract and synchronize documents from OpenText Documentum which inherit from 'dm_sysobject', with 'dm_document' being the most suitable default. All documents of a type share the same maximum set of metadata and the following (single and multi-valued) types of metadata are supported by the connector:

Additionally, the connector resolves the ACL objects that define access rights to the documents. Direct access‚ as well as access via group membership is supported.
