Quick Start

The connector interacts with two parts of the OpenText Documentum instance via the TCP protocol:

  • Repository broker: port 1489

  • Content server: port 47625/47626 (default/SSL default)

This connector uses a slightly modified version of the Documentum Foundation Classes Java client to access the OpenText Documentum instance.

It configures itself and the connection towards Documentum based on the file dfc.properties which is created and maintained by the OpenText Documentum instance. It can be found in the OpenText Documentum installation directory, in the config folder as dfc.properties.

Please make sure to to rely on your existing dfc.properties parameters when configuring the connector.
